The transformation of this blonde brick 1950s home into a mid-mod masterpiece began by raising the roof and adding a front entry. Interior walls were demolished to open the floor plan for family living and home office space. A west-facing roof overhangs to filter sunlight and the Glulam structure was exposed to add a sense of volume, warmth, rhythm and charm. The residence fits into the neighborhood context with its low scale and articulated front façade.
